Byron was on his way to find Birdie when he found Truffles sitting quietly under a tree. Byron said to himself "Hey, what's up? I was looking for my friend Birdie." Truffles thought about it and said "Birdie? I saw him go off in that direction." So he pointed with his small turtle hand which way Birdie went. "Thanks!" Said Byron as he ran off to the direction Truffles pointed at. He found Birdie playing with some butterflies next to a tree. "So, what are you doing?" Asked Byron. Birdie said "This is the third time I've seen these butterflies, and I'm pretty sure that they're not here to play with me." Byron could tell that Birdie was serious, so he laughed and went over to the tree to see if he can find out what was going on. "Well, there must be some other butterfly that likes to play up here." He thought as he looked at each branch. "Birdie!" He cried as he sat upright on a branch high above the ground. "I've found you." Birdie was very surprised that it wasn't Byron, but returned the greeting. "So, what do you want to play?" He asked. "Don't you have practice with your friends?" "No, they're not here right now." Replied Birdie. "Well, what are you doing up here anyway?" Asked Byron. "Well... I was thinking about something." Said Birdie sitting down on one of the branches. "What were you thinking about?" Asked Byron as he walked closer to Birdie. "I'm not sure..." Replied Birdie as he looked at some ants that were walking by the two of them. "So, do you think that they're going to make a giant ant hill?" Asked Byron. "I think so... I hope so... It'd be a big surprise for everyone." Replied Birdie as he put his head down on his knees. "I've got an idea! Why don't we play a little of our own?" Replied Byron as he suggested that they do something together, but it doesn't have to be boring. "Really? How can we play?" Asked Birdie as he stood up and stretched out his wings. "Well, how about we play hide and seek? In case you forgot, I'm here!" Said Byron sitting down on one of the branches above the ground.
